The P90X Workout Routines were designed by Tony Horton to provide people with the best possible results, maximizing their gains and minimizing the ever dreaded plateau.  He has been able to accomplish this through his philosophy of muscle confusion.  When P90x arrives at your door, the fitness guide has three schedules:  classic, lean, and doubles.   Depending on your goals, abilities and time will factor into which schedule will work best for you.  The classic schedule is a well rounded fitness program equally focusing on cardiovascular training and strength training.  If you are wanting to improve your overall fitness this may be the best schedule for you.  The lean schedule includes both cardiovascular and strength training, but puts an emphasis on the cardiovascular training.  If you are wanting to focus on shredding fat, losing weight and improving your cardiovascular strength this may be the best schedule for you.  If you are already in good physical shape and a little bit crazy, the the doubles schedule may be best for you.  Printable versions of all of these schedule can be found by clicking the links below:
